Beware of False Prophets
Jesus warned His followers to beware of false prophets who come in sheep's clothing but are inwardly ravenous wolves. Not everyone who claims to speak for God actually does - deception often comes wrapped in religious language. It matters because false teaching can lead people away from truth and into spiritual harm. In daily life, this means testing what you hear against Scripture, looking at the fruit of a teacher's life, and staying grounded in a community that values truth over popularity.

Did You Know?
Not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom. Jesus warned that many will come in His name but will be wolves in sheep's clothing. Discernment is not optional.
The test is fruit, not gifts. A false prophet may perform signs and wonders. The question is what kind of tree produces the fruit. Bad trees cannot produce good fruit.
The early church took this warning seriously. They tested prophets, examined doctrine, and did not accept every new teaching that claimed to be from God. We are called to the same vigilance.
