Did You Know?
Hopelessness is the lie that the future holds nothing good. The gospel says the best is yet to come. The One who began a good work will bring it to completion.
The psalmists often began in despair and ended in praise. The journey from "Why have you forgotten me?" to "Why are you cast down, O my soul?" is the pattern of hope.
Christian hope is not optimism. It is certainty based on the character of God and the resurrection of Jesus. The tomb is empty. Therefore the future is not empty.
