Call to Joyful Singing

Psalms 95:1-6

Isaiah 12:5-6

Worship in Spirit and Truth

John 4:23-24

Jesus teaches that true worshippers must worship the Father in spirit and truth, emphasizing the heart posture required for acceptable praise.

B23ut the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Singing and Thanksgiving

Ephesians 5:19-20

Paul instructs believers to speak to one another in psalms and hymns, giving thanks always, linking corporate worship with a lifestyle of gratitude to God.

Heavenly Worship of the Lamb

Revelation 5:11-13

John describes angels and creatures praising the Lamb with loud voices, illustrating eternal worship as the ultimate response to God's redemptive work.

A11nd I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
